All complaints are reviewed by the Constable and investigated in accordance with department policy.

EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE
In Case of an Emergency Dial 9-1-1 Immediately
Emergency situations include:
- Crimes in progress
- Medical emergencies
- Fires
- Serious traffic crashes
- Immediate threats to life or property
- Active disturbances
- Any situation requiring immediate law enforcement, fire, or EMS response
Remain on the line and follow the dispatcher's instructions.

NON-EMERGENCY REPORTING PROCESS
If you are experiencing an emergency, dial 9-1-1 immediately.
For incidents that do not require an immediate emergency response, please contact the Palo Pinto County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center at:
(940) 659-2085
Dispatch personnel will gather information and notify a Constable Deputy when appropriate.
Examples of Non-Emergency Incidents
- Theft (suspect is no longer on scene)
- Criminal Mischief
- Criminal Trespass (after the suspect has left)
- Harassment
- Fraud or Identity Theft
- Lost or Found Property
- Welfare Checks
- Civil Standby Requests
- Follow-up information on an existing report
Please Be Prepared to Provide
- Your name and telephone number
- Location of the incident
- Date and time of occurrence
- Description of what happened
- Description of any involved person(s) or vehicle(s)
- Any available photographs, videos, or other evidence
The Constable's Office will determine the appropriate response based upon the nature of the incident.
