Palo Pinto County will be receiving limited Moderna COVID-19 vaccines. If you are in group 1-A or 1-B, (image below), please click the link here to register. Bar Closures

The Department of State Health Services (DSHS) notified TABC that Palo Pinto County is included in a Trauma Service Area (TSA) that now has high hospitalizations as defined by the current executive order. Palo Pinto County previously filed a certification form with TABC to indicate that Palo Pinto County opted to open bars and similar establishments in Palo Pinto County. Palo Pinto County has been notified by DSHS that Palo Pinto County’s attestation has been revoked and therefore Palo Pinto County is ineligible to remain open for bars.

Guidelines for Essential and Non-Essential businesses

If you are an essential business in accordance to the guidelines set forth by Texas Division of Emergency Management please give your employees a letter on company letterhead stating that your business is essential and they are an essential employee.


Small Business Administration Economic Injury Disaster Information

The Small Business Administration (SBA) has designated COVID-19 as a qualifying event for the provision of Economic Injury Disaster Loans for small businesses and private non-profits (PNPs) in affected communities. Texas is currently working with SBA to qualify for this declaration. Small businesses and PNPs must be able to demonstrate that they are unable to meet obligations or pay ordinary or necessary operating expenses by completing the Economic Injury Worksheet. It is very important that the “Estimated Adverse Economic Impact” section of the form is completed in its entirety. The “brief explanation” field should also include comments that state that “the economic impact is directly related to COVID-19.”
