    Palo Pinto County is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of the following items:

    • Road Base Material
    • Asphalt
    • Fuel

    Please contact Commissioner Jeff Fryer for any questions (940) 659-1210.

    All bids must be sealed, clearly marked as either:

    • "Road Material/Asphalt Sealed Bids" or
    • "Sealed Bid on Motor Fuel"

    and submitted directly by the bidder to the County, 1st floor of the Palo Pinto County Courthouse located in Palo Pinto, TX, or mailed to:

    P.O. Box 190, Palo Pinto, TX 76484

    No faxed or emailed bids will be accepted.

    Deadline: All sealed bids must be received in the County Judge's Office by noon on Monday, November 17, 2025.

    Bid Opening: Bids will be opened during the Regular Session of the Palo Pinto County Commissioner's Court on November 24, 2025 at 9:00 A.M. in the County Courtroom.

    Award Consideration: Consideration for award of bid will be made on December 8, 2025 at 9:00 A.M. in the County Courtroom of the Palo Pinto County Courthouse, located at:

  • The Palo Pinto County Municipal Water District No. 1 will be closing a portion of the South bound lane located at the 10,400 block of FM4 North of Santo, TX, 32.6384443, -98.2533731, to conduct repairs to damaged sections of a rural asphalt road on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. There will be traffic safety personnel on site directing the one-way traffic during the repair.
