Civil Court Records

The County Clerk's office maintains records on civil suits filed for amounts less than $20,000.00 in Palo Pinto County Court. We also maintain records on cases that are appealed from the Justice of the Peace Courts.

The District Clerk handles civil filings in amounts greater than $20,000.00, family matters, including divorce cases.

Hours to obtain these records are 8:00am – 4:30pm 
*Annex Location Closed for lunch 12pm-1pm

COPY FEES:

- Photocopy:      $1.00 per page

- Certified Copy:    $1.00 per page for copy + $5.00 to certify

Our offices accept cash, personal checks with DL# & phone # on them, debit/credit, money order, or cashier’s checks as forms of payment

Probate and Civil information filed through Efile can be obtained on the re:SearchTX Website

All fees and costs are set by Texas State Statute and are not a guarantee that you will prevail (win) in your case.   The Court Costs and Fees are for clerical services performed at the time the amounts are charged.

The County Clerk cannot refund any fees, regardless of the outcome of your case.
